2017 The Constitution of Moldova Edited in the Languages of Ethnic Groups
On 21st of February 2017, the Constitutional Court of Moldova offered to representatives of ethnic groups the Constitution of Moldova which was translated into Russian, Bulgarian, Gagauz, Ukrainian and Romani languages. The event took place within the round table "The language that unites us," on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day, carried out by the Bureau of Interethnic Relations. The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions, central public authorities and ethnic groups of Moldova. The publication "Block of Constitutionality" has been translated for the first time in 8 languages, and it was also edited in Braille alphabet. The edition was published with the financial support of the United Nations Development Programme "Strengthening Rule of Law and Human Rights in Moldova" and of the EU Project "Support for the Constitutional Court of Moldova."
