The Constitutional Court has elected its President

Today, 17 August 2025, the Plenum of the Constitutional Court elected Ms Domnica Manole as President of the Constitutional Court.

According to Law No. 74/2025 on the Constitutional Court, the President of the Court is elected by secret ballot, for a term of three years, by a majority of votes of the judges.

On the same date, five judges of the Constitutional Court took their oath before the Parliament, the President of the Republic of Moldova, and the Superior Council of Magistracy, thereby assuming the duties of their office.
