The Minister of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania Has Visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova

On 21 June 2017, an official delegation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Lithuania, led by the Minister Milda Vainiutė, has visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova (CCM).

The meeting was focused on issues related to justice sector of both states, followed by an exchange of information on the experience of the parties.

CCM was represented by the Judge Aurel Băieșu, Chief Assistant-Judge Rodica Secrieru, Secretary General - Diana Balan and the key-expert of the EU project ”Support to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova” who is also a former Judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania - Toma Birmontienė. The meeting was also attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Chișinău - H.E. Rimantas Latakas and the Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova - Eduard Serbenco.

The working visit to Chișinău of the Lithuanian delegation is taking place at the invitation of the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Moldova - Vladimir Cebotari.
