2016 High school students attend Constitutional Court’s public sessionsOn 10 May 2016, students from 5 high schools visited the Constitutional Court and attended the public session of the Court. The event was organized on the occasion of Europe Day, celebrated nationwide. Aiming to elevate the legal culture and general knowledge of senior high school students about the Constitution, on the occasion of Europe Day, the Court was visited by students from 5 high schools: High School of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, High School "Gogol" of Chișinău with teaching in Russian and high schools of autonomous territorial-unit of Găgăuzia - Caracioban, Gaidarji and Tretiacov. For the first time ever, the public session of the CCM had an audience of about 80% of high school students. The Court has established a tradition of communication with both students of higher education institutions and of high schools. Following the meeting, the students had a presentation of Court's activities made by the President of the CCM, Mr Alexandru Tanase. Subsequently, a discussion has been moderated by the President of the CCM and the ex-judge of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, Prof. Dr. Toma Biermontiene, who works within the EU project supporting the CCM.
